Hillary and Lisa Real Love Romance - Shediac, New Brunswick

how did you meet? Who made the first move? What was the first date?

Lisa and I met via Instagram! She actually reached out to me looking to join myself and a friend of mine who got together for weekly yoga dates. The first time we met I was very intrigued by Lisa, and she was intrigued by me. We both texted the entire evening after she left, and a connection started to form quickly! Within a few weeks we were seeing each other almost daily. We have been inseparable ever since. 3 years later Lisa asked me to marry her on top of a mountain in Malibu California!

What is one thing about the other that you can not live without?

Hillary: I think the one thing I could not live without would be Lisa’s flirting. She still flirts with me and hits on me even after 5 years of being together.

Lisa: I would definitely say the way Hillary makes me laugh. She always puts a smile on my face even in the moments where smiling doesn’t feel possible.

What drew you to the other person?

Hillary: what drew me to Lisa was honestly her charm! She was SO smooth lol I was literally swept off my feet.

Lisa: the booty. 😂 LOL Honestly I would have to say Hillary’s very care-free spirit

What is home to you?

Hillary- somewhere that I feel comfortable, with the person I love (and our first babies)

Lisa- whereever Hillary is.

What are you most excited about for the future together?

Hillary- I am most excited for all of our adventures and times spent together. To grow and learn with her by my side.

Lisa- to be able to travel more together, and to marry her.

What do you love to do together?

We love to bath. We are huge bath lovers. We also love to get in to bed early together and snuggle up with snacks and our favourite shows. We love to be outside together, we love to travel!

Our session with Sherry was nothing short of amazing. Being a same sex couple there is always that worry that the photographer may feel awkward, or make you feel awkward- but Sherry was just so sweet and cheering us on the entire shoot. She really made us feel comfortable and supported. I can’t express how good that felt.

Destination Wedding - Barbados New Year's Day Elopement

I got to shoot a few amazing elopements while visiting Barbados, where I am from, all the way for Saint John New Brunswick for Christmas. Visiting my family and spending time on the beach daily was the highlight of my trip but this was up there on those special moments.

Jenny and Till visited all the way from Germany and said I DO on the beautiful south coast beach.

This beautiful set up was created by Elope Barbados.

I can hear the laughs and the sounds of the waves still as I look back on these images.

Mollie and MacKenzie's Grand Manan wedding

Mollie and Mackenzie had booked their wedding in Rothesay New Brunswick Canada initially however they came back to the place that they also called home. The beautiful Grand Manan island was the perfect spot where they could bring all their family and friends together.

The night before Hurricane Elsa paid us a visit but she left just in time for the sun the shine light on this special day.

If you aren’t familiar with this island in New Brunswick, I highly recommend you take your family for a weekend visit perhaps! It has the most stunning views and very little wifi! Just what we need during these times right?

Jessica & Dax's beautiful Marina wedding

Jessica and Dax’s wedding will go down as one of the most beautiful weddings from the magical fog to the love in each room and the romance between each other.
